Study on friction properties of different abrasive materials and polylactic acid materials

چکیده
Abstract In recent years, 3D printing technology is often used in various fields such as industry, medical care, and academia, because it can produce components with complex shapes at a lower cost than traditional processing. However, the size of products limited by printable range equipment, so large objects need to be disassembled printed before joining. Friction stir welding join different thermoplastics has considerable potential for industrial applications, influence design tool on formation zone an important key. this study, abrasive materials polylactic acid were friction, changes friction coefficient temperature during process discussed. The experimental results show surface roughness significant effect rise. As increasing tool, wear scars, cracks below scar are both significant. It inferred from crack shape that PLA softens high temperatures then solidifies again, seen streamlined appearance, which means softened carried abrasives highly rough surfaces.
